Vivo V9 officially unveiled with top-notch display

After several leaks and teasers, Vivo has finally unveiled its first iphone-like top notch design smartphone in V series through a live launch event in Thailand. The new arrival has been named as Vivo V9, successor of V7 which was released in November 2017. The manufacturer has also revealed the availability and price for Thailand.

According to that, the vivo v9 will launch in Thailand for 10, 999 Thai Baht (equivalent to $350 USD or 22,900 INR). Until March 29 the users can preorder this handset in Thailand, it will go for sale from march 30 onwards.

Specs overview:

Vivo V9 features 6.3-inch Full HD+ FullView display with 19:9 screen aspect ratio. Compared to other devices, the 19:9 aspect design covers more than 90% of screen to body ratio. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 mid-range chipset and 2.2 GHz octa core processor. It will be pre-installed with android 8.1 oreo based Funtouch OS 4.0. The highlight is it comes with three dedicated slots two for sim card one for microSD card. They’ve eliminated the hybrid slot which annoyed the users to swap the second sim slot to use microSD card.

At back this handset houses 16MP + 5MP dual cameras and also has 24MP massive selfie camera at front. Both rear and front camera features A.I camera (Artificial Intelligence) technology for perfect image shot. Down to rear camera, they’ve placed the fingerprint sensor which will improve security further more. It also support A.I powered face unlock and you can also use this feature to unlock apps.

It comes with 3260 mAh non-removable battery which is compatible with fast charging technology. Vivo V9 will arrive in two colors black and gold, but the teaser video confirms there is also a blue color option which may release later.

Vivo has also scheduled to launch this V9 smartphone in Indian market on March 23 through a live event. The amazon retailer will exclusively sell this mobile in India and also confirmed the prebook will start from 3 PM.
