Vivo Nex officially announced in India, launch price is Rs.44,990

As scheduled, Today Vivo has brought their premium flagship mobile Vivo Nex to Indian market via live streaming event. This high-end device was first debuted in China on last month June 2018 as Vivo Nex S, but in India they’ve renamed it as Vivo Nex. The manufacturer has also revealed the availability and pricing of this handset at this event. Vivo has already started to take preorders via Amazon India and vivo online shop. The launch price of Vivo Nex in India is Rs. 44,990 and the release date set as July 21.

As well as it will be the first smartphone from Vivo that launched above Rs. 40,000 price range. This handset sports some unique and highlighted features like motorized pop-up camera, full borderless display, In-Display fingerprint sensor and so on. Specs:

Vivo Nex features 6.59-inch Super AMOLED display, FHD+ (2316 x 1080) screen resolution and 19.3:9 aspect ratio. It runs on latest android version Oreo 8.1 (Funtouch OS 4.0), later it may be upgradeable to Android P version. To improve the performance, they’ve used Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and octa core processor which clocked at 2.8 GHz. It comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Because of vast amount of storage they’ve truncated the microSD card.

Back of this device, it has dual main camera lens 12MP + 5MP that features 4-axis OIS, Dual Pixel focus, Sony IMX363 sensor, AI camera modes, 4K video recording and so on. At front it has automated & motorized camera i.e. whenever you tap front camera it will slide-out at top and if you tap back camera it will slide-in and hide.

As I said already the fingerprint sensor has been embedded within display and also support A.I powered face unlock technology. Other connectivity options are WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C USB, dual sim slot, Dual VoLTE support and more. Coming to power, it loaded with 4000 mAh non-removable battery and support dual-engine quick charging technology. The available color option is black.
