Realme 2 with notch design goes official in India for Rs.8990

Followed by the success of Realme 1, Today Oppo’s sub-brand Realme has added new smartphone to their line-up and named it as Realme 2. Like its predecessor, they’ve also launched this handset under budget price range. This device will be available as flipkart exclusive and will go on sale from September 4 onwards. The manufacturer has also revealed the launch price of Realme as Rs. 8,990 for 3GB + 64GB and Rs.10,990 for 4GB + 64GB.

Realme 2 Specs:

Compared to its predecessor, Realme brand had done more changes in hardware, design, display, battery and so on. The realme 2 features 6.2-inch HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and also having a notch on the top. It runs on android oreo os and it customized by ColorOS 5.1. It arrives in two storage variants 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. It also has a dedicated slot for microSD card and it support up to 256GB.

Coming to performance, they’ve used Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset and octa core processor which clocks at 1.8 GHz. This handset comes with 13MP + 2 MP dual cameras at back which includes 1080p video, live AR sticker, bokeh mode, PDAF focus and more. Coming to front, it has 8MP single selfie camera and it features HDR, AI Beautification 2.0, AI facial unlock, AI shot and so on.

Unlike realme 1, this handset houses dedicated fingerprint key which has been placed at the back. Other connectivity features are WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G with Dual VoLTE, Micro USB 2.0, dual nano sim slot and GPS. It powered 4230 mAh (non-removable) battery and supports regular fast charging (5V/2A).

It arrives in three colors diamond black, diamond blue and diamond red. Initially the black and red colors variant will be available to buy while the blue edition will go for sale from October.
