Motorola has started to push new software update for Moto G4 Plus units in U.S. It carries the December 1 2017 security patch for this handset. It has been officially affirmed by the manufacturer through its support page. They’ve also started the roll out and it’s landing on more number of devices.
The security update for Moto G4 Plus brings new version NPJS25.93-14.7-3. However the company didn’t publish the full changelog, they’ve just notified it will update the security patch level. Other than that it may also perform bug fixes and stability enhancements. Moto G4 Plus is now picking up this security software update via OTA.
Motorola recommend users to manage battery level above 50% and use Wifi or mobile data to download this update. To initiate the manual update go to Settings > About phone > System updates. If you got the OTA update prompt, then follow the installation steps that shown on your device.
