LG G7 ThinQ and G7+ ThinQ are officially introduced

LG has officially unveiled the most expected premium flagship smartphones G7 ThinQ and G7+ ThinQ through a launch event in New York. These are the successor models of LG G6 which was released in 2017. Recently LG has also showcased this handset at MWC 2018 event, but it has been codenamed as LG G7 (Neo). After a month, they’ve finally presented the G7 ThinQ series handsets and also it will be the first device from LG that featuring iphone-like top notch design.

LG has revealed that this handset will release in South Korea in the upcoming days and then it will expand to other key markets like North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Unfortunately the manufacturer didn’t convey the price and exact availability date of G7 ThinQ series.

US Availability:

Followed by announcement, the Verizon and Sprint carriers have confirmed the availability and preorder date of this G7 ThinQ model for U.S market. The Big Red (Verizon) carrier will begin the preorder from May 24, but they didn’t confirm the release date. On the other hand the Sprint carrier will take the preorders from May 25 and the release date set as June 1.

The U.S cellular carrier has revealed the preorder date as June 1 while the T-Mobile and AT&T will unveil the availability of this device in late spring.

LG G7 ThinQ & G7+ ThinQ Specs:

Both G7 ThinQ and G7+ ThinQ are having similar hardware specs, but it differs in memory part. The g7 thinq equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage (UFS 2.1) while the g7+ thinq will arrive with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage (UFS 2.1). Both models support expandable microSD (expandable up to 2TB).

Other common features are 6.1-inch QHD+ (3120 x 1440) top notch display, HDR10 compliant, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, android 8.0 oreo os, 7.9mm slim, Qualcomm snapdragon 845 chipset and octa core processor. At back it houses 16MP + 16MP dual cameras which includes A.I Camera mode, Google Lens, Super wide angle lens, Super Far Field Voice Recognition and more. It also has 8MP front mounted camera for selfies.

Other preloaded options are WiFi, NFC, Fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C USB, IP68 water & dust resistant, MIL-STD 810G compliant, Hi-Fi Quad DAC audio, Boombox speaker and more exciting features are there. It packed with 3000 mAh battery which compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless charging technology. The available color options are Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, Platinum Gray and Raspberry Rose.
