Lava launches their new budget smartphone Lava iris 405+ with 3G support. It was announced in January 2014 without any price details in online retailers. Lava Iris 405+ has dual sim support. It has 4 Inch LCD display with WVGA resolution. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The device has 512 MB RAM and 1.3 GHz dual core processor which will increase the device performance faster. The device has 5 Megapixel back camera with LED flash and VGA front camera. The device back camera has 4X digital zoom support which allows user to capture images in good quality. The 5 Megapixel camera has 720p HD video recording support. The device camera has Back-illuminated Sensor (BSI) and fixed focus features. The device has 4GB internal storage and 32 GB external storage via microSD card. The device has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, USB Port, FM radio and more features. The device comes with preinstalled apps such as Facebook, Play store, NDTV, Temple Run 2, WhatsApp etc. The device has 1400 mAh battery capacity with 657 Hrs/518 Hrs of 2G/3G standby time. In December 2013, they released lava Iris 354e with dual sim and 2G network support. Compared with Lava Iris 405+, it has 3.5 inch display with HVGA resolution. It also runs on Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system. It has 256 MB RAM and 1 GHz dual core processor. Compared to iris 405+ it has lower RAM and processor speed. It has 2 GB ROM while Iris 405+ has 4GB ROM. It has 2 Megapixel rear camera (No LED flash) and VGA front camera. The device camera has greater 8X digital zoom compared to Iris 405+. It also has 720p HD video recording support. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, USB Port connectivity features. It has no 3G network support where Iris 405+ has 3G support. It also has 1400 mAh battery capacity but differs in standby time (400 Hrs). The price of this device is Rs. 3799.
