BlackBerry Motion goes official with 4000mAh battery

BlackBerry has debuted its next android smartphone that will be called as BlackBerry Motion. A week ago the press renders of this handset was leaked on twitter. They’ve officially presented this smartphone at GITEX Technology event in Dubai. The company has also confirmed the pricing and availability of BB Motion for UAE and Saudi Arabia.

As per the report, the launch price of Blackberry Motion in UAE and Saudi Arabia will be 1699 Dh (Rs.30,240 / $463 USD) and 1699 Riyal (Rs.29,620 / $453 USD). It will also release in Middle East regions through Axiom Telecom and Etisalat. The company also reveals that it will not launch in North America.

Coming to specs, the Blackberry Motion features 5.5-inch 1080p display that has been covered with dragontrail glass. Unlike previous models, this handset comes with full touch body and truncates the classic physical keypad design. Performance wise it uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, 2GHz octa core processor and 4GB RAM. It has 32GB of internal memory that can also be expandable via microSD card.

At rear it has 12MP main camera with 4K video recording and also has 8MP front camera for clear selfies. At front they’ve placed the fingerprint sensor that embedded within the home button. It will be first smartphone from Blackberry that has IP67 water resistant body. Other features are NFC, Wifi, Bluetooth, Type-C USB and more. It packed with 4000 mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
