BlackBerry DTEK50 and DTEK60 unveiled in India

BlackBerry has officially unveiled the two flagship android smartphones in India – DTEK50 and DTEK60. These handsets are released outside of India and also available to buy. The dtek50 and dtek60 are introduced by Blackberry on July 2016 and October 2016. In India the company will initially roll out the DTEK50 mid-range mobile from November 13. The launch price of this mobile will be Rs. 21,990. The high-end model DTEK60 will launch in December 2016 for the price of Rs. 46,990.

The dtek50 comes with 5.2-inch 1080p display, android 6.0 marshmallow os, octa core processor and qualcomm snapdragon 617 chipset. The memory options are 3GB RAM, 16GB on-board storage and microSD card slot (up to 2TB). The mid-range model has 13MP main camera and 8MP selfie camera. Other features are wifi (dual band), bluetooth 4.2, micro USB, NFC, GPS, 4G LTE, fingerprint sensor, blackberry apps and more. This model sports 2610 mAh battery with quick charge 2.0 support which can charge 50% in 51 mins. The battery will backup up to 17 hrs for mixed usage.

Final one the high-end dtek60 features 5.5-inch 2K display, android 6.0 marshmallow os, qualcomm snapdragon 820 chipset and quad core processor. The RAM and internal storage upgraded to 4GB and 32GB. It also support expandable microSD card slot (up to 2TB). The rear and front camera options are 21MP and 8MP. The camera support 4K video recording, PDAF sensor, video stabilization, burst mode and more features. It includes fingerprint sensor, NFC, Type-C USB, dual band wifi, bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 4G LTE and more connectivity options. The dtek60 comes with 3000 mAh battery which supports quick charge 3.0 technology. It can offer 24 hrs of mixed usage time and 17 hrs of video playback.
