BlackBerry Aurora goes official and also up for preorder

Blackberry officially introduced new android mid-range smartphone BlackBerry Aurora for Indonesian market. BB Merah Putih (license holder of BlackBerry) has revealed this android mobile in Indonesia. Preorder of BB Aurora is also available at Indonesian online retailers. Until March 12 the preorder will be open for this device. The shipping will begin on next day March 13. The launch price of this handset is IDR 3,499,000 ($261 USD / 17,470 INR). Soon the company will confirm the global availability of this android mobile.

The aurora android phone features 5.5-inch AMOLED HD display, scratch & stain resistant, dual micro sim slot, and android 7.0 nougat os. It uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset and 1.4 GHz quad core processor for enhanced performance. The device houses 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and a MicroSD card slot. It has 13MP main camera with PDAF sensor and 8MP selfie camera with LED flash.

Other features are wifi, bluetooth, 4G LTE, GPS and more. At this price range the BB Aurora doesn’t include fingerprint support which will be the major drawback in this mobile. Coming to battery it packed with 3000 mAh and offers 20 hrs of usage time. It comes in three optional colors black, gold and silver.
